PK’s Pizza is a mobile catering service cooking top quality pizza at your party or event, all from within our wood-fired pizza oven housed in a vintage converted horsebox.

It all started with the love of pizza and cooking pizza for friends and family. A small pellet pizza oven led to a small gas pizza oven, which led to a wood-fired pizza oven, and eventually a much larger wood-fired oven.

Disillusioned and underappreciated with the 9 to 5, it was time to try something different. Mental health is a much-used term these days and my mental health was crying out. I needed that job satisfaction and some restoration to my feeling of self-worth.

So not only did my mental health need restoring but the horsebox I bought did too! Fortunately for me my Dad has many skills and he can now add horsebox conversion to his CV (thanks Da!).

I quickly outgrew the first trailer and converted a larger one, allowing it to house an even bigger pizza oven to ensure a larger and quicker output.

So now I have a (larger) beautifully restored vintage horsebox. It’s admired wherever it goes, definitely adding that wow factor to your wedding, party or event.

My trailer and I have been all over Northern Ireland cooking at weddings, birthday parties, hen/stag parties… I’m not fussy. It really is an honour to cook for and meet so many decent, appreciative people.

I can truly say that so far, I’ve only ever received positive feedback. Everyone loves the pizza (or maybe they’re just too polite to say otherwise… nah!).
