The Brambles opened in August 2024.

Our spacious guest house has 8 bedrooms, a library, a dining room, bar and snug room with Sky Sports TV. An outside area with tables to soak up the sun.

We rent the whole house on a nightly basis, which has a bar, kitchen area, large dining table, library and 8 bedrooms. All our rooms have an ensuite with either shower or shower over bath. Also, includes tea and coffee facilities.

Our gardens have a plethora of native trees, including Maple, Alder, Rowan (mountain ash), Norway maple(red), Ash, Grey elder and more.

We are located on the outskirts of Newcastle and just 5 minutes drive from many local attractions.

Royal County Down Golf Club is a golf club in Northern Ireland, located in Newcastle, County Down. It opened on 23 March 1889 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland. It has two 18-hole links courses, the Championship Course and the Annesley Links. Just 15 minutes from us.
