Off the beaten track, but easily accessible from Belfast, Hidden Huntley offers five acres of beautifully maintained gardens, grounds and outbuildings, all perfect for a wide variety of events and activities.

Located within the boundaries of the Lagan Valley Regional Park, this private family home is one of the original ‘linen houses’ of the Lagan Valley, built in the early 19th century, and the current family (also in the linen business until the mid 1980s) has occupied the house since 1928.

This beautiful and versatile venue includes a fully functional walled kitchen garden and greenhouse, a rose garden, small woodland areas, a tennis court, extensive lawns, a hayshed and one (recently refurbished) outside loo! There is also a light and airy first floor studio (80 m2), as well as a former carpentry workshop on the ground floor which can be used for serving refreshments.

Open all year round, Hidden Huntley offers the perfect outdoor setting for wedding or engagement photos with its magnificent trees, beautifully weathered stone walls, and an abundance of colourful shrubs and flowers as backdrops. It is also ideal for small private or corporate gatherings, well-being events, film shoots, product launches, art exhibitions, music and theatre rehearsal/performance space and an infinite variety of outdoor workshops and classes.

In the past few years, we’ve hosted groups of Tai Chi enthusiasts and had several film shoots. Since November 2019, we’ve been collaborating with WalkItOffNI, providing lunch in the garden for small groups of walkers and, last December, two very jolly, socially-distanced Christmas wreath-making workshops were held in the hayshed.
