Northern Ireland’s first authentic Filipino restaurant comes to Comber.

Let me introduce you to ‘Lasa’, meaning taste in Tagalog, the Philippines most widely spoken language. Situated on Bridge Street link, Comber, this little BYO restaurant takes you on a culinary journey around the country with over seven thousand islands.

Beginning as an idea during the summer of lockdown, Elizabeth and her fiancée Conor decided to take the leap into the restaurant business along with their three-year-old son. Holding their family values close, the aim of the business is to promote Filipino culture through food and drink.

The menu is a balance of traditional Filipino dishes, with a contemporary twist in order to satisfy even the least adventurous palate. There is also a kids menu which has all of their son’s favourite dishes!
